Health Equity in Action
The Black Nurses Association of Baltimore believes that every resident of our city deserves access to quality, culturally competent healthcare. Our programs are designed to close the gap — training nurses, educating communities, and advocating for systemic change.
From free community health screenings in underserved neighborhoods to mentorship pipelines that bring more Black nurses into leadership, every initiative we run is rooted in the lived experience of our members and the communities we serve.

Free Health Screening Initiative
We partner with Baltimore community centers, churches, and schools to provide free blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol screenings. Our nurses bring clinical expertise directly to neighborhoods with limited healthcare access.
