Promoting Community Health & Nursing Excellence since 1974

Black Nurses Association of Baltimore was founded in August 1974 by the visionary Beverly Mason (Thabiti Ambata). BNA of Baltimore has been a powerful force in advocating for health equity and empowering Black nurses for over 50 years!
Our mission is to represent and provide a forum for Black nurses to advocate for and implement strategies that ensure access to quality healthcare.
From hospitals and schools to churches and community events — we’re in the heart of Baltimore, promoting health, wellness, and education for our people.
Stay tuned for updates, events, and opportunities to connect, serve, and grow with us!
